Rock Forest Vineyard is a cool climate vineyard perched high on an outcrop of spectacular granite country west of Bathurst.
Patricia and David grown the vines and make the wine since 2008 with the help of family and friends. The soil is granite sand with little organic matter. Rain water flowing over large near by rocks is collected to provide minimal irrigation. The grapes are hand picked and processed on site with minimal intervention.
Currently Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Shiraz and Pinot Noir are in the making.
