CANCELLED – Treasures of the Goldfields – Autumn Colours Heritage Festival Event

On this bus tour, enjoy a journey to the villages of Sofala and Hill End to learn about the treasures of the goldfields. An approximately 40 minute drive from Bathurst to Sofala, enjoy a morning tea on the banks of the Turon River followed by a visit to the Western Goldfields Museum at Sofala. Travelling along to Hill End for a visit to the History Hill Museum. A lunch stop will be at the historical village of Hill End. This will
be at your own expense at Hill End, with options of meals at the Royal Hotel, snacks at the General Store or take your own picnic. After lunch, enjoy a stroll around the town and visit the Hill End Heritage Centre before boarding the bus for home. Wear comfortable shoes.
