WILLIAM AMER – SINGING SONGS OF TENORS OF THE PAST

A rare opportunity to watch and listen to William sing songs that were and are part of his musical tradition. Irish man John McCormack, American Richard Crooks, Italian Ben Gigli, Central European Josef Schmidt and Viennese Richard Tauber. William uses his own voice, not wanting to imitate these greats, but he will play a typical recording of each of them on his wonderful HMV Gramophone. The audience will also join in some of the songs.
