Spring into Art at Newbridge
Spring into Art at Newbridge returns in 2026 with a range of activities including the 5th Newbridge Art Show, which offers prizemoney over $6000.
As well as the art show, there are the following:
– an accessible viewing day on October 14 for those who require some more time and space to enjoy the exhibition
– two days of art workshops on Thursday 15th and Friday 16th, led by tutor and Canowindra artist David Isbester at Barry Community Hall
– an opening night concert on October 16 featuring Simon Tedeschi, George Washingmachine and special guest Clare O’Meara performing The Great American Songbook of jazz and Latin classics in the iconic Newbridge church
– Concepts of Musical Stagecraft workshop by George Washingmachine and Clare O’Meara on October 17
– a portrait photography workshop on October 17 with Martin Ryan in the Newbridge Schoolhouse
– a beginner photography workshop with Carolyn Hide on October 18, also in the Newbridge Schoolhouse
– free musical performances by the Cowra & District Band on Saturday and the Big Phatt Jazz Band on Sunday at The Gladstone Hotel
– Bathurst Panorama Chorus on Sunday at the art show
– soprano Monique Rose and many other performers throughout the weekend
