Rockley Open Gardens & Art Festival

THE GARDENS
Each year several Rockley gardeners open their garden to the public during the festival. Some are established gardens such as Janelle and Peter’s garden at Tara, and Tony and Deidre’s garden at Budden’s Guesthouse. Other gardens are described by their gardeners/owners as works in progress because they are relatively new gardens. Kerry and Belle purchased Calais Villa a late Victorian home five years ago and are still reviving the century old garden beds. John and Jude’s garden at the 19th century Presbytery of St. Patrick’s Church, is always described by John as ‘still a work in progress’, whereas it’s one of the best tended gardens in Rockley.

THE ARTISTS
Rockley is known for its artistic community. Each year during the festival, Rockley artists exhibit their artworks in the School of Arts Hall and/or their own studio. Our arts trail will be on the map you receive when you purchase your ticket.
