Inland Sea of Sound – Michael Simic (aka Mikelangelo)

Michael Simic has built a substantial career over twenty years, both under his own name, and with his long term group Mikelangelo and the Black Sea Gentlemen. A natural showman, his powerful voice, haunting melodies and vivid storytelling have drawn comparisons to Johnny Cash, Nick Cave and Elvis Presley.
Simic has a strong national and international following having played countless packed out shows at music venues, theatres, and major arts and music festivals nationally and internationally. He’s toured to the UK, Europe, NZ, Canada and the US, and has played sell out seasons in the Spiegeltent in New York, London, Edinburgh, Dublin and Montreal.
