Fashioning the Past: Memories of California Fashions – Autumn Colours Heritage Festival Event

A factory on the Blayney Road has been home to a variety of manufacturing businesses over
the decades, including the notable clothing company California Fashions. During this tour,
historians from the Bathurst District Historical Society will help uncover the site’s rich history and
share insights and stories from former employees of the fashion manufacturer. Visitors will also
enjoy a display of garments produced by California Fashions during the 1950s and 1960s,
offering a nostalgic glimpse into the company’s contribution to Bathurst’s industrial heritage.
