Overflowing with historical artefacts concerning the history and development of the Bathurst Region, the Bathurst District Historical Museum has changing regular exhibitions on historically relevant local themes.
They also manage a Bookshop, Research Rooms, Old Government Cottage with its heritage garden and over 23000 items in their collection.
The Society holds musters with a variety of guest speakers on the third Thursday of each month except for December and January. These talks are free and open to the public.
