Chifley Home

Group bookings by appointment. Chifley Home is a house museum which served as the only marital home of Australian Prime Minister Ben Chifley and his wife, Elizabeth. The home contains original household furnishings and personal belongings of the Chifley’s. On display are also ceremonial gifts presented to Ben Chifley in his roles as Commonwealth Treasurer and Prime Minister. The Chifley Home also has an Education Centre which features additional displays on Ben Chifley and serves an an educational centre for school groups and a venue for changing exhibitions.
