Over the past two decades, The Oxford has undergone a remarkable transformation. Once known for its late-night club days, it has been reimagined into a multi-level destination unlike anything else in the Central West. Driven by a deep understanding of Bathurst’s evolving needs, our vision has always been to create more than just a place to eat, drink, or stay — but a space for families, sports fans, visitors, and locals alike to come together, connect, and thrive.

After 22 years of running The Oxford and being deeply involved in Bathurst’s hospitality community, we’ve seen firsthand what locals and visitors need — and how hospitality can bring people together. The road was filled with challenges — from massive refurbishments and rebranding to finding the right balance between heritage charm and modern expectations. But with a passionate team of over 60 staff, and unwavering community support, The Oxford is thriving.
