Taolinggou Village in Pingtan Town Suburb District Yangquan City is the national civilized village, the national ecological culture village, the national advanced grass-roots Party organization. Taolingou Scenic spot, known as the back garden of Yangquan City, is currently an ecological tourism park integrating entertainment, leisure, sightseeing and picking. Because of the ancient gully beam here are covered with peach trees, so it was named “Taolingou”. The Peach Blossom Festival is held in the middle of April every year. 阳泉市郊区平坦镇桃林沟村是全国文明村、全国生态文化村、全国先进基层党组织。桃林沟景区被誉为阳泉市的后花园,目前是集娱乐、休闲、观光、采摘为一体的生态旅游园区。因古时这里的沟沟梁梁都长满了桃树，因此而得名为“桃林沟”。每年4月中旬举办桃花节，以花为媒、以节会友，吸引了八方宾朋前来踏青赏花。

桃林沟景区包括桃花柱、桃花源里公园、水上人家、农业观光园等景点，大家在体验采摘、品尝美味佳肴的同时,还可以欣赏鸟语花香、珍禽异兽。园林内孔雀、七彩山鸡、珍珠鸡、王鸽等珍禽向市民免费开放。另外，桃花源里公园以乡土树种为主，乔灌草合理搭配，地被与宿根花卉应用丰富，同时引进南方木棉树和本地百年老松等珍稀树种，形成了大树浓荫、季相丰富的植被景象，兼具生态性和观赏性，富有很强的韵律感，还实现了三季有花、四季常绿。可以说，这里就是一个佳木荟萃、欣欣向荣的珍稀植物园。在硕果累累的丰收时节,大家可以在桃林沟亲自感受摘桃的感觉，品尝无公害绿色果品。
