We all know about Florence Nightingale but what we probably don’t know is that historical figure’s association with Bathurst. The association comes in the form of a close friendship with Swiss born Marie Herzog, who brought modern nursing practices to Bathurst in the late 1880s. Marie’s story is the focus of this Pillars of Bathurst story.
