About Mitch

Mitch Tambo is a singer, storyteller, and proud First Nations man from Australia. He makes amazing music that mixes old sounds and new beats. Mitch sings in English and Gamilaraay. His songs are full of love, joy, and big feelings. When Mitch sings, people feel strong and proud!

Mitch has made lots of songs that people all over the world love. Some are slow and gentle, and some make you want to dance! He even sang a famous song called You’re the Voice in his own language — and over a million people listened to it on Spotify!

Mitch travels to schools to sing and talk to kids. He tells stories about being proud of who you are, being brave, and never giving up. He says, “Be you — that’s your superpower!”

Mitch also acts and talks on TV. And guess what? He wrote a book just for kids! It’s called I AM ME, and it’s all about loving yourself, being kind, and knowing you are special — no matter what. Mitch hopes his book will help children believe in themselves.

When Mitch is on stage, he wears fun clothes and dances with big energy. He shares his culture with the world and makes everyone feel welcome. Whether he’s singing with his wife, helping kids feel strong, or reading his book, Mitch always shares a message: “You are amazing just the way you are!”
