Prepare for Bush Fire Season with Get Ready Weekend 2025

As the bush fire season approaches, it’s crucial for NSW residents and landowners to be aware of their risk and take steps to protect their homes and properties. To help you prepare, the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) hosts Get Ready Weekend events every September, providing valuable information and resources to ensure you’re ready for the upcoming bush fire season.

 There will be community education displays, children’s rides, food, coffee, and more. 

By attending these events, you can gain insights into creating a Bush Fire Survival Plan, maintaining a defensible space around your property, and understanding Fire Danger Ratings. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with your local RFS brigade, access essential resources, and ensure you’re well-prepared for the bush fire season.
