BIG BAND BLAST GALA CONCERT

Big Band Blast is back in Bathurst for another exciting weekend of the Big Band music. The Gala Concert will feature the prestigious Sydney Conservatorium Jazz Orchestra directed by David Theak, with special performances by the Big Band Blast clinicians – John Morrison (drums), Jacki Cooper (vocals), Eric Dunan (trumpet) and Dan Barnett (trombone).
We invite you to join us in hearing the superb talents of the Syd Con Jazz Orchestra as they play stunning arrangements of modern and classic jazz pieces.
Now in its 11th year, Big Band Blast provides educational and performance opportunities to high school big bands from around Australia. Proudly supported by the Mitchell Conservatorium, Big Band Blast is proud to call Bathurst home.
