The Best of the Bee Gees Show returns to BMEC to honour the 1979 “Greatest” album, with a set list of iconic disco, ballads and songs written by the Bee Gees for other legends.
Endorsed by the Gibb family and original Bee Gees musicians, the core trio of Evan Webster (Barry Gibb), Russell Davey (Robin Gibb) and Greg Wain (Maurice Gibb), will be joined by special guest vocalist Debora McLane (Bee Gees niece).
From You Should Be Dancing to the “Greatest” chart busters and memories which defined the decade: Massachusetts, To Love Somebody, I started a Joke, Jive Talking, Stayin’ Alive, Night Fever, How Deep Is Your Love, Too Much Heaven, Nights on Broadway and so much more.
This will be the 28th year playing Barry Gibb for Evan Webster who is also the creator, producer and coordinator of the Best of the Bee Gees. Most weekends, Evan appreciates the time on tour with his ‘on the road family’ sharing stories and performing to new audiences in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Manila, Spain, Portugal, the UK and global cruise ships including “The World” luxury liner.
Greg Wain’s European career highlights include performing at the Royal Albert Hall, international touring with London’s acclaimed vocal group Shout, operatic productions with Pro Musica Chorus of London, sharing the stage with Jose Carreras in Carmen, the Jools Holland Big Band, West End Starlight Express and since 2017, playing Maurice with the Best of the Bee Gees in Australia.
Russell Davey has toured New Caledonia, South Africa, Hong Kong, Canada, Spain, Portugal, New Zealand and the UK with multiple tribute shows. He joined the Best of the Bee Gees in 2013 and has shared the stage at sea with Suzie Quatro, Tony Hadley, Belinda Carlisle, Go West and others.
This troupe of seasoned musicians received standing ovations during their 25th anniversary in 2023/24, national concerts this year and most recently, 11 shows throughout New Zealand’s North Island.
It would be a Tragedy to miss the Best of the Bee Gees’ sensational, retrospective show “Greatest”!
