Family Fun Fossicking @ Hill End

Sign-up for the Family Fun Fossicking Day hosted by myself and Jhob in Hill End. Fun activities for all ages. Come pan for gold and have an outdoor adventure.

Why: Learn how to find and pan for gold. Events for kids to find gold and treasures and have fun.
What are the activities?
1. Gold Panning
This event is for all ages and families. Learn from Jhob, an expert gold panner and legend from Hill End how to find and pan for gold. I can’t guarantee everyone will find gold, but I am 99.9% you will find some shiny yellow pieces!
2. Easter Egg Treasure Hunt
This event is for ages 18 and below. Come hunt easter eggs loaded with treasures!
3. Mud and Muck Treasure Hunt
This event is for ages 18 and below. Dig through water and muck for treasures. You might just find a gold nugget…
Free BBQ for attendees!
How to get there?
Take the Turondale Road route from Bathurst using Google or Apple maps. Park in the field next to the red brick chimney. 4WD is not required. Public Bathrooms are located 5 minutes away.
What to bring?
Bring a shovel, bucket, snacks and water. It’s a 100 meter walk from the parking spot to the creek. Optional items: chairs, extra clothes and towels (might get wet).
