Come alone, come with a friend, or bring the kids. This day is about learning a new skill in a friendly, no stress environment. No previous knowledge or skills required.
The morning session covers how to felt. You will use merino wool, silk and fabric to create a felt sampler. There will be a materials charge (payable on the day to the tutor) of $10 to cover the wool and embellishments. Simply bring along a bucket, some soap and an old bath or beach towel.
The afternoon session covers how to weave. Using a simple cardboard loom, you will use yarn and fabric to create a small piece which can be used as a wall hanging.
