Special Event Paralympian Ben Austin OAM Bathurst Library

On the occasion of the International Day of People with Disability, Bathurst Library is delighted to host this special event.

Ben Austin is one of Australia's most successful Paralympian swimmers. Born in small country town Wellington, Central West NSW, Ben had his left arm amputated when he was two years old. He has gone on to become one of Australia’s most successful Paralympian swimmers. Ben is now a motivational speaker sharing his amazing journey from early struggles with depression, into a life of purpose through his transformation into a world champion swimmer.

This is a free event, however bookings are essential. Tickets are available via Eventbrite or call the Library on 6333 6281 to reserve your spot.
