October Long Weekend Community Market

Pack the car, pack the kids, pack the dog and head to Hill End for a great spring break during the School holidays. As the drought continues what better way to support the local rural community than to bring your city $$$s and spend them where it really matters. “Buy local”.

Experience country friendship and outdoor living. Camp in town at either of the National Parks campgrounds (but don’t forget to book online beforehand) or head to the Turon River down the Bridle Track from Hill End. Then venture into Hill End on Saturday 5 October for the Hill End Market.

Here you will find a range of bric-a-brac, household items, books, pre-loved clothing, and vintage jewellery and craft items. Support local stallholders through this tough time. They are a friendly bunch and love being part of the market atmosphere. You just never know what you might find camouflaged under the “olde wares” and “vintage collectables” as they clear out their sheds. Country people are a resilient bunch who can turn their hands to handicrafts & kitchen crafts as well and a purchase is a great way to show your support for their efforts.
