Atif Badria Sako Dermenjian Special Guest

Dynamic Armenian born classical guitarist Sako Dermenjian and Syrian born percussionist Atif Badria are two of the leading musicians in their domains in Australia.

At 6pm on Saturday November 2nd they will join us for what is set to be a captivating performance amongst the “Threads Through Art” tapestry exhibition at Bathurst Regional Art Gallery. Fusing Middle Eastern beats with contemporary melodies, Sako and Atif will explore the synergies between ancient and modern styles.

Sako and Atif began their musical journeys as very young children in Armenia and Syria respectively, and both musicians bring a lifetime of experience to their beautiful, uplifting and truly unique performances.

Don't miss this one-night-only opportunity to experience a fusion of cultures that exemplifies the modern Australian narrative at Bathurst Regional Art Gallery.
