Jenolan Caves

Magic Happens Here!

Jenolan Caves is easy to find, an hour from Bathurst, along scenic, fully sealed country roads.
Open daily, these famous caves are Australia’s most spectacular, Australia’s largest (that are open to the public), the world’s oldest (340 million years) and amongst the world’s most outstanding caves.

Strictly protected and unspoiled, Jenolan offers an underworld of stunning limestone crystal formations wilder than your imagination, pure underground rivers, fascinating guided cave tours, several ‘show’ caves, helpful tour guides, and challenging ‘adventure caving’.

Jenolan is located in a vast nature reserve, within the Blue Mountains World Heritage Area, and is home to native wildlife, including kangaroos and platypus. Glimpse them as you stroll along scenic bush walks.
