The Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre (BMEC) is one of the finest performing arts centres in regional Australia, and comprises: – a well equipped 642 seat proscenium arch theatre; – City Hall licensed for a maximum of 1100; 550 maximum for sit down dinners with dance floor; – four small Conference rooms catering for up to 120 people each; – commercial kitchen; – three licensed bars; – two foyers which can be used for separate functions, additional break out rooms, etc. The Centre has its own entertainment program and attracts bookings from a wide range of sources. The Centre does not have in-house catering (apart from tea, coffee and afternoon tea services) but quotes from local caterers can be arranged upon request.
