Treat yourself to a getaway at our delightful guesthouse located in this historic village of Rockley just 25 minutes south of Bathurst or west of Oberon.
The building built in 1872 was formally the Rockley Bank, also the changeover stop for the gold coach that carried gold from Burraga to Bathurst and has a unique Stable block and Coach house used for the stopover of the Cobb & Co coaches on the same route.
Restoration of these charming Georgian buildings and gardens was rewarded with a National Trust award and makes this a perfect retreat to escape and relax and rejuvenate your senses.
The main house boasts 5 bedrooms for 10 guests, with delightful decor and cosy sitting rooms; the Guesthouse exudes warmth and charm and has an impressive array of artwork and artefacts.
The sun-drenched Banksia Cottage located in the gardens of Buddens overlooking the Weir can accommodate 4-6 persons with fully equipped modern kitchen and bathroom and all amenities needed for an enjoyable stay, ideal for families and groups.
Enjoy our gourmet breakfasts or candlelight dinners in the dining room, on the veranda or in the garden and gourmet picnics can be arranged.
