TAFE NSW's Bathurst College is a major centre for access and general education and trade programs as well as courses in business, hospitality, information technology and management. University of the Third Age (U3A)

The Bathurst U3A is a part of the University of the Third Age movement which arranges courses in which people over 50 can use their leisure time to learn and teach together. All U3As are volunteer groups, autonomous from one another, and run by an elected committee of local members.
