Transport and Access

Bathurst is quite literally a regional NSW hub with it’s prime location at the junction of the Great Western, Mid-Western and Mitchell Highways, which provide links from western NSW, east to Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong and south to Canberra, all within four hours. It’s actually the same distance to get your product to Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra as if your business was located in Sydney.

Add in reliable and dynamic transport operators, who are able to distribute a wide range of goods efficiently to and from Bathurst, two major train terminals that offer containerised transport to Port Botany, Newcastle and Wollongong, and you have the perfect spot for your business.

Diverse Economy

The Bathurst community has a strong and diverse economy  with healthcare, manufacturing and education being the main employment industries. Bathurst is a major hub of Central NSW and provides logistics access both nationally and internationally, as well as having almost 3,500 registered businesses.
