SUMMARY:Lose To Win
DESCRIPTION:An extraordinary journey from South Sudan to the stage. \n“In this country\, you think it’s your right to have three meals a day. Me\, where I came from? I think it’s a miracle.” \nFrom South Sudan to Egypt to Australia\, this is the extraordinary journey of Mandela Mathia. Fleeing his war-torn home as a child\, Mandela spent many years journeying\, searching\, and eventually finding his way to our stage. This is a joyful\, poignant solo show\, straight from the man who lived it. \nA celebration of the South Sudanese community\, of resilience\, and the power of imagination\, Lose To Win is an astonishing modern Australian story.” \n★★★★ Sydney Arts Guide – “It’s that big smile again. He can say something difficult with a grin and we smile back.” \nSydney Morning Herald – “Not a soul is born without a backstory\, but few are as gripping as Mandela Mathia’s.” \nTheatre Reds – “Mandela Mathia has an extraordinary stage presence – warm and generous spirited.”

SUMMARY:Morning Ragas at The Keystone
DESCRIPTION:This is the second instalment of Evening Ragas at the Keystone. Morning ragas. As this system of Indian classical music is not only set to seasons\, it is also set to times of day\, so certain melody forms or Ragas can only be performed at the prescribed time. As the musicians tour the world playing this music it is common that the audiences are mostly exposed to evening ragas. So this is a rare opportunity to experience the morning music. \nThis concert will be very relaxed\, the audience is encouraged to dress in comfortable clothes and bring a cushion\, or use the seating provided of course. There will bear sick packs and chai available as an add on to the ticket price\n ( check link ). So come and enjoy some Sunday Morning Music and take a break from the hectic world. Once again there will be projections\, this time Sunrise of the Ganges\, that has been specifically designed by Sarangi student and artist Annabel McLure.
