In 2023\, Parris participated in the Hill End Drawing Marathon\, an event led by Fran O’Neill\, a faculty member of the New York Studio School. The time she has spent exploring the surrounding bushland and engaging with the region’s rich and layered history provides a peaceful balance to her studio practice in Sydney.
