This collection expresses the vibrant energy and enchanting landscapes that have shaped her unique experience in Hill End. Julie wishes to celebrate and thank the many friends and family members who have supported her over the years by inviting them to experience this heartfelt showcase.Parris Dewhurst’s Connection to Hill EndFor nearly twenty years\, Parris Dewhurst has been drawn back to Hill End\, finding it to be a place of enduring connection and retreat. In 2023\, Parris participated in the Hill End Drawing Marathon\, an event led by Fran O’Neill\, a faculty member of the New York Studio School. The time she has spent exploring the surrounding bushland and engaging with the region’s rich and layered history provides a peaceful balance to her studio practice in Sydney.
