DESCRIPTION:125th Anniversary of Banjo Paterson’s Bathurst presentation. On 26 and 27 April\, 1901\,Australia’s most famous poet\, Banjo Paterson\, presented lectures on the Boer War in theBathurst School of Arts. Well known poet Gregory North is re-enacting Banjo’s tour andwill present his show\, The Life & Rhymes of Banjo Paterson. Greg is from the Blue Mountainsand spends four months each year in Winton\, Queensland where Banjo wrote “WaltzingMatilda”.
