DESCRIPTION:Join us at the gallery each Saturday during our current exhibitions\, for a free guided tour!  \nSaturdays\, 11am\nFREE\, all welcome\, RSVP online or at BRAG reception \nOur current suite of exhibitions includes: \nA Tear in the Fabric presents new and existing works from nine Asian and Asian Australian artists who embrace distortion as a mode of disruption. In partnership with 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art\, the exhibition revolves around notions of aesthetic\, material and conceptual interventions integrated into established forms of creative practice. Picking at the seams to make space for new narratives and artistic approaches\, we see exploratory excursions into concepts of place\, materiality\, memory\, identity and perception\, manifesting in a diverse range of mediums. \nTea Ceremony in the Celestial Garden\, is reminiscent of the famous Japanese food display ‘shokuhin sampuru’ or French pastries display in Paris\, the cakes are mouth-watering\, but not for consumption. The construction of the cakes in ceramics is labour-intensive\, down to each sprinkle of hundreds and thousands. Their imaginary forms conjure a colourful\, dream-like world. This project was created during a 2025 artist residency at the PumpHouse Albury. \nLandscapes of Imagination: From the Collection\, bringing together works from the Bathurst Regional Art Gallery Collection that reflect the enduring artistic allure of Hill End. They are a covers band that plays hit songs from the 60’s to the 00’s\, priding themselves on playing the songs just like they sounded on the radio when they were released.\n\nWith Dave Newstead on Guitar\, Greg Bell on Bass and Andrew Elliott on Drums they have over 60 years of experience in the music industry. The band has played over 400 gigs together and have played for crowds in private settings of twenty\, to corporate events for thousands.

Dress up in PINK\, jump on the bus for a day trip to Mudgee to help spread the word about the importance Breast Screening.  Spend the morning wandering the Mudgee CBD through Boutiques and Cafes and see all the beautiful shops with their PINK displays.  After lunch we will jump back on the bus and head out to Rosby Wines and Gallery to enjoy their annual Sculptures in the Garden display.
