SUMMARY:Larapinta Trail End to End...well almost! An illustrated talk with Joy Rayner
DESCRIPTION:Joy Rayner is a keen hiker and loves the challenge of seeing the world on foot. After a ‘tree-change’ from Sydney\, Joy made Bathurst her home\, she is now a member of the Central West Bushwalking Club.\nJoy’s talk will cover her experiences on Larapinta\, with accompanying imagery\, as well as details of the Indigenous and white settler history of the area.\nJoy will also bring some info on how you can get involved in hiking or join the local hiking club.\nFree community event.\nBookings essential\, phone 6333 6281.

SUMMARY:Bathurst Dances\, Old Time and New Vogue Dance
DESCRIPTION:Dancing the old fashioned way\, with a another in your arms. Waltzes\, Tangos\, Saunters\, Jive and Swing in a sequenced way. Short demos before many dances\, but nothing beats\, standing up and simply giving it a go\, then having a laugh or giggle at your own attempts\, the way it was done in the old days\, still the cheapest way to learn.

SUMMARY:Exhibition Tours
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the gallery each Saturday during our current exhibitions\, for a free guided tour! \nSaturdays\, 11am\nFREE\, all welcome\, RSVP online or at BRAG reception \nOur current suite of exhibitions includes: \nA Tear in the Fabric presents new and existing works from nine Asian and Asian Australian artists who embrace distortion as a mode of disruption. In partnership with 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art\, the exhibition revolves around notions of aesthetic\, material and conceptual interventions integrated into established forms of creative practice. Picking at the seams to make space for new narratives and artistic approaches\, we see exploratory excursions into concepts of place\, materiality\, memory\, identity and perception\, manifesting in a diverse range of mediums. \nTea Ceremony in the Celestial Garden\, is reminiscent of the famous Japanese food display ‘shokuhin sampuru’ or French pastries display in Paris\, the cakes are mouth-watering\, but not for consumption. The construction of the cakes in ceramics is labour-intensive\, down to each sprinkle of hundreds and thousands. Their imaginary forms conjure a colourful\, dream-like world. This project was created during a 2025 artist residency at the PumpHouse Albury. \nLandscapes of Imagination: From the Collection\, bringing together works from the Bathurst Regional Art Gallery Collection that reflect the enduring artistic allure of Hill End. This historic village has captured the imaginations of artists drawn to its layered histories\, dramatic terrain\, and evocative sense of place. \nImage: Jayanto Tan\, Berries Cream Tarts\, 2025\, ceramic\, 9 x 26 x 26 x 26 cm. SUMMARY:Renzaglia Porchetteria and Spring Wine Launch
DESCRIPTION:Spring is upon us and we have a whole bunch of new things we are excited to share. New wines\, a new look and a new\, long awaited collaboration with the food wizard and good mate Andy Logue. \n\n\n\nThe Renzaglia range of wines has had a makeover as we’ve brought it more into line with our wholesome\, rustic values. On September 27th and 28th\, we are excited to launch them to the public at our cellar door in the beautiful Wambuul Valley. \n\n\n\nAndy Logue has been telling us how good his porchetta is for a long time. We are still yet to try it. Since selling his iconic restaurant\, Bar Vincent earlier this year he’s now got some time up his sleeve do some collaborating beyond our annual salami and pasta production. So with much anticipation we are excited to pair our new range of wines with Porchetta in panini form. \n\n\n\nYour ticket will get you access to our cellar door for the afternoon on the day of your choosing\, a porchetta panini and a glass of one of our new wines of your choice.
