DESCRIPTION:Explore the use of critical minerals and understand how vital they are to our modern world.\n\nThis exhibition is one-of-a-kind in Australia at the moment\, and focuses on the role of critical minerals in the transition to renewable energy as well as their everyday use in industry and throughout our households.\n\nThe exhibition was prepared in consultation with the Australian Museum and Dr Malte Ebach\, Honorary Associate Professor at UNSW.\n\nThe Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum is open daily 9am-4.30pm\, closed on Wednesdays. Open 7 days a week during NSW school holidays. Closed Christmas Day\, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

DESCRIPTION:Join the Peel community for the annual fundraiser for the Peel Recreation Reserve at the 15th Peel Jam — a relaxed afternoon set in the grounds of the historic old school hall. Enjoy live music\, talented local artists with artworks available for purchase\, artisan stallholders\, local wines and craft beer\, delicious food vendors\, and the Peel RFS serving up their much-loved catering once again in 2026. \nEntry is $10 per person or $20 per family (two adults and children under 18). This family-friendly event is held just 15 minutes north of Bathurst. \nPlease note this is a pet-free event. The grounds are fully accessible and include an accessible toilet. The old school hall (circa 1856) unfortunately predates accessibility standards\, so access to the art exhibition inside the hall may be difficult for wheelchair users
