SUMMARY:Taikoz – Catharsis
DESCRIPTION:Experience the Power of CATHARSIS – Taikoz’s electrifying new work. \nRenowned for redefining contemporary taiko drumming\, Taikoz returns with CATHARSIS – an explosive celebration of rhythm\, movement\, and emotion that showcases the ensemble at their exhilarating best. \nFeaturing the heart-pounding compositions of Taikoz Artistic Director Ian Cleworth and the ethereal electronic soundscapes of Danish artist Xuri\, CATHARSIS fuses tradition and innovation in a breathtaking display of artistry. \nExpect everything that makes Taikoz unforgettable – spectacular taiko drumming\, dynamic physicality\, hypnotic rhythms\, and dramatic shifts of feeling. \nFrom the delicate rat-a-tat of a woodblock to the thunderous roar of the Odaiko Grand Drum\, four virtuoso Taikoz performers take audiences on a sonic and emotional journey like no other. SUMMARY:First_Nations_Free_Community_Event
DESCRIPTION:The Bathurst and surrounding community are warmly invited to come together for a relaxed and welcoming day of conversation with NSW integrity agencies that help keep government accountable. \nJoin us for:\n10am – Welcome to country\n1pm – Free BBQ \nMeet friendly staff from key independent oversight bodies\, and have a yarn about what integrity\, transparency and fairness mean to you and your community. This is an opportunity to ask questions\, share your perspectives\, and connect directly with the agencies that work to strengthen trust in public institutions across NSW. \nImportantly\, integrity across government does not happen in isolation. It relies on people – on communities -speaking up. We depend on members of the public to raise concerns\, share information and bring issues forward so they can be examined properly and addressed. Your voice matters. \nWho you’ll meet: \n•	NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) – Investigates and exposes serious corruption in the NSW public sector and works to prevent corruption through education and advice.\n•	Law Enforcement Conduct Commission (LECC) – Oversees and reviews how complaints about NSW Police and the NSW Crime Commission are handled\, and independently monitors critical incident investigations.\n•	NSW Ombudsman – Handles complaints about NSW government agencies and certain community services to ensure people are treated fairly and lawfully. The Ombudsman also administers the Public Interest Disclosures (PID) framework\, which helps protect whistleblowers who report serious wrongdoing from reprisal.\n•	Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC) – Deals with complaints about health services and providers in NSW\, helping to protect public health and safety. \nCome along\, grab a bite to eat\, and sit down for a yarn. We are here to listen\, to share information\, and to work alongside community to strengthen accountability across NSW.

SUMMARY:BATHURST ANNUAL AUSTRALIA DAY TRIATHLON
DESCRIPTION:Bathurst’s Biggest Triathlon Event of the Year\nWhile the Australia Day Triathlon in Bathurst is one of the most prestigious events in Country NSW\, it is a wonderful way to celebrate Australia Day\, giving the citizens of Bathurst an opportunity to get “out an active” on Australia Day Morning. The Australia Day event is the Bathurst Wallabies Triathlon Clubs round in the Central West Interclub series and is quite a spectacle\, bragging an excellent Honour Roll.\nThe event is based at Stanley Street which is a very historic site\, being where Governor and Lady Macquarie proclaimed the city and first European Settlement in Inland Australia. But prior to this\, the venue was the meeting place of the two dominant water courses of the Bathurst Plains: with the Wambool (Macquarie River) and Vale creek joining at the location. This had created a sandy beach & swimming hole long before white settlement. (NOTE around a century ago\, the Queen Charlotte’s Vale Creek was redirected by the Municipal Council to join the Macquarie/Wambool River further upstream).\nThe 2026 Aussie Day event starting adjacent to the Wambuul Ceremonial Ground & 2015 Bicentennial meeting site\, with race organisers asking all to consider the history of the Wiradyuri Nation at this old natural water hole site. This event is a celebration of life in Australia on our National Day\, as well as the Bathurst round of the Central West Interclub Series.

SUMMARY:BMEC On Screen Monsters' INC.
DESCRIPTION:Watch this classic back on the big screen for a whole new generation to experience. \n\nDisney/Pixar’s 2001 monstrous hit\, following the exploits of pals Sully (voiced by John Goodman)\, a loveable big blue behemoth\, and Mike (Billy Crystal)\, a short wisecracking cyclops. Together\, they are an extremely competent duo\, safely extracting scares from contaminated human children – the screams are then used as an energy source to power the city of Monstropolis.\n\nHowever\, when a curious 2-year-old nicknamed Boo stumbles into the monster’s world\, Sully and Mike must rush her back home before their boss Mr. Waternoose (James Coburn) or rival scarer Randell (Steve Buscemi) find out.
