Back at the Truffle Hunting Lodge\, while your truffles are being cleaned and prepared you’ll enjoy a delicious warm baked garlic\, artichoke\, and spinach cheesy truffled dip with a glass of sparkling wine. \nYou’ll also get to see how truffles are graded and weighed\, learning what makes these delicacies so special. DESCRIPTION:Exhibition Tours // ESSSENSSSE \nJoin a FREE\, guided exhibition tour by BRAG staff on Saturdays at 11am!\nFree\, all welcome\, RSVP online or at gallery reception. \nBathurst Regional Art Gallery (BRAG) presents ESSSENSSSE\, a joyful work about healing and new beginnings by acclaimed contemporary artist HOSSEI (NSW)\, guest curated by Tesha Malott. \nESSSENSSSE is an aquatic ecosystem that explores the tenacity of the human spirit\, stripping away corporeal human qualities and revealing what’s underneath. ESSSENSSSE follows HOSSEI’s exploration of creating costumes that ‘heal’. Featuring a cast of 16 other-worldly sea creatures\, ESSSENSSSE transitions from a series of dynamic and joyful performances into a sensory\, large-scale installation\, in which visitors are surrounded by a playful\, 100% tactile landscape. \nESSSENSSSE began when HOSSEI became fascinated by the sand dollar sea creatures— their shape\, features\, and how in mediaeval times it was truly believed that sand dollars were mermaid currency. When looking at the sand dollar\, HOSSEI realised that if you were to remove the physical characteristics of a human body\, you would be left with a mouth and an anus\, just like the sand dollar. It is this idea that compelled HOSSEI to make the sand dollar an emblem of the show. An entry point and an exit\, not just with food\, but in the sense of discerning which energies come through and nourish the insides\, and which are let out. ESSSENSSSE is about letting go and being one with the spirit and embracing its purity and vulnerability. \nA Verge Gallery exhibition\, touring in partnership with Museums & Galleries of NSW\, supported by the University of Sydney and proudly funded by the NSW Government. On World Peace Day 2025\, we invite you to take the opportunity to learn the fascinating history of the Bathurst War Memorial Carillon\, a Peace Carillon\, explore the three floors of the tower\, and meet one of our local carillonists while enjoying the playing of the instrument from within the clavier room. After the conclusion of the tour\, enjoy a recital in honour of World Peace Day.  \n\n\n\nSaturday 18 October: This is a rare opportunity to learn the fascinating history of the Bathurst War Memorial Carillon\, explore the three floors of the tower\, meet Canberra Senior Carillonist Peter Bray and enjoy the playing of the instrument from within the clavier room. After the conclusion of the tour\, enjoy a recital performed by Peter.  \n\n\n\nSaturday 22 November: 22 November is St Cecilia’s Day\, the Patron Saint of Music. We invite you to take this opportunity to learn the fascinating history of the Bathurst War Memorial Carillon\, explore the three floors of the tower\, and meet one of our local carillonists while enjoying the playing of the instrument from within the clavier room. After the conclusion of the tour\, enjoy a recital in honour of Saint Cecilia.  \n\n\n\nSpecial requirements: tour participants must wear flat shoes\, be able to climb 61 steps in the tower (20 to the landing\, 21 to first floor\, 20 to playing level) and have nothing in their hands to hold onto the handrails.   \n\n\n\nTour duration: 1 – 1.5 hours.

DESCRIPTION:Part of this year’s Beatlesfest Bathurst  \n\n\n\nThey say “never trust anyone that doesn’t like The Beatles”. And certainly\, here at The Album Show\, we have seen audiences of all shapes and sizes LOUDLY express their affection for the Fab Four in our various Beatle related shows. Inspired by this\, we created “The Beatles – The Live Singalong”. \n\n\n\nThe Album Show certainly knows how to celebrate the music of The Beatles. And now it’s time to make the audience the STAR.  “The Beatles – The Live Singalong” is a show designed for maximum audience participation. The setlist has been VERY carefully chosen to include THE most singalongy Beatles tunes. Featuring The Album Show’s favourite Beatles performers playing the songs live\, and even a teleprompter on the screen for you to sing along too\, this promises to be a very special and fun live concert experience!
