Discover Hill End: Travel through the scenic countryside via Turondale to the historic town of Hill End. Begin your adventure at the renowned History Hill Museum, where you’ll be amazed by the actual tip of the Beyers-Holtermann nugget and hundreds of rare gold-related artefacts.
Leisurely Lunch in Hill End: Take your time to explore Hill End at your own pace. Enjoy a hearty counter lunch and a refreshing beer at the Royal Hotel, a classic establishment built in 1872, or opt for a coffee and sandwich at the charming General Store.
-Afternoon Exploration: After lunch, relax on a guided bus tour around the old town. Marvel at the historic sites and visit a breathtaking lookout, offering a spectacular view of the location where the world’s largest gold nugget was discovered.
