The line up for the 2018 Inland Sea of Sound Festival has been announced and it is incredible!
Headlining the festival, International sensations The Cat Empire will bring their brand of feel good, high-energy, smile-inducing, euphoric roots pop to Bathurst along with Australian legend Deborah Conway performing with Willy Zygier and The Others. Supporting them is an incredible collection of over 40 artists who will feature over the two days 30 November – 1 December. Check out the full program HERE.
The Inland Sea of Sound Festival is one of the leading cultural events of central New South Wales, a major festival of music, arts and culture staged in an iconic location of Wahluu – Mount Panorama. With the blessing and cooperation of the local Aboriginal Elders the festival takes place each year on a traditional corroboree or celebration site. Traditional meeting and initiation sites are also nearby.
In recent decades the mountain has become a testing ground for a different form of initiation as racing car drivers vie to become the “King of the mountain” on a race track which has gained an international reputation as one of the finest motor racing venues in the world.
Now on the summit of Wahluu the festival marks the coming together of many cultural traditions, honouring the resilience and generosity of the Wiradyuri people and celebrating our shared present and future.
Tickets for the festival are on sale now with early bird discount until 31 August.
