. From O'Connell Road, turn left onto Mutton Falls Road. Keep your eyes out for a great local water hole along the Fish River known as Flat Rock. It is free to camp here but with minimal facilities. 20 minute's drive from O'Connell is Tarana, where you can have lunch overlooking the railway tracks and rolling hills from the Tarana Hotel
beer garden. Then just a short drive 3 km east of the village is Evan's Crown Nature Reserve. A steep climb is rewarded by towering granite boulders with 360 degree views of the Bathurst Region's stunning landscape.
