The Bathurst Welcome Wagon is an initiative of the Bathurst Business Chamber and plays a special role in welcoming you and your family to our community.
New residents are either self nominated or nominated by someone they know to be part of the Welcome Wagon program. New residents are visited personally and delivered a welcome pack which includes vouchers and coupons to be used in local Bathurst businesses.
Bathurst Regional Council also hosts a Welcome Morning Tea every few months, which provides new comers to our city an opportunity to meet new people, make new friends and networks as well as meet key Council staff.
